The rooms here were really nice and super clean, and they even had a balcony - awesome for chill time 😊. The spot where this place is located is just fantastic; it's pretty much a perfect spot, only a 10-15 minute walk from the main shopping street.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean facilities. Our room was on a back building, we had a nice big patio to relax and we did not hear any street noise. We were close to the pool, which we enjoyed on those hot days. There was plenty and a good variety of food for breakfast italian style of course (fresh juice, pastries, cheese, ham, capuchino...).
The building was kind of old, and the shower small. There was no street noise, but we had a rooster for a neighbor, not a big deal though. Best way to go places is walking, taxis are expensive. May take 20 - 25 min. To train/bus station. It took us 50 min from the port after dinner. Sidewalks are narrow to walk on the mains road if you are carrying laugage with you.

I liked the friendly atmosphere of a family run hotel. Everything felt very relaxed although it was a very efficiently run hotel. I had an early start on my departure date and they got up specially and even made me a take away breakfast. There was a beautiful garden area where yould could sit and take breakfast, with a wealth of citrus trees and cactii. The pool area was also surrounded by greenery and had a very useful cafe.

Very good views if you pay extra. Lovely pool and garden. Very helpful staff.
Hotel is on a busy road and the traffic noise only goes away at night when windows closed. Is also about a 20 minute walk into Sorrento.

Rita and the team were wonderfully friendly and very helpful, especially David who was a real sweetheart with a story to tell about most things, his specialities for lunch at the pool bar are absolutely divine!! All the staff spoke English which was really useful and offered advice on what to do and where to go. The pool area was lovely and not too busy so relaxing by the pool was enjoyable. Breakfast was great, the best we had in our stay in Italy, a good range and lovely to be able to sit in the garden to eat it each morning. The distance into town is an easy walk straight up one road too so easy to find, no car needed at all! If you are arriving into Sorrento on the train, from the main station, come down the steps walk straight ahead and turn right once you are on the main road, walk along here for 5 mins at the most and the hotel is on the left hand side.....don't be conned into getting a taxi, totally not worth it! Overall a great family run hotel. The first pizza place you come to on the opposite side of the road to the Girasole (it had barrels outside being used as tables) was absolutely fantastic, wish I could remember its name but it definitely deserves a mention and a recommendation!
We were in one of the garden rooms behind the pool and I would not be giving an honest review if I didn't say the rooms weren't exactly wonderful. Having said that though the hotel is clearly marked as a 3 star and I guess you get what you pay for, however we had paid €100 per night and did expect the rooms to be a little more modern....they were very tired! Our reaction once left by the maid was hysterical laughter at the comparison of this room to one we had left in Rome which was the same price...there was no comparison! However, when you are realistic about it, how much time do you really spend in your room when you are on holiday somewhere beautiful like Sorrento?! We were only there for 3 nights so did not get hung up on the quality of the room and the rest of the hotel more than made up for it. My one genuine complaint was that there was a charge of €3 if you wanted to use one of the sunbeds by the pool area. There were other seats available for free, more deckchair type seats, but you would be charged if using the sunbed. Having paid €100 a night for this hotel I would have expected the sunbeds to be free and felt this was a bit of a con to be honest.

A very nice family hotel, courteous and helpful people. A clean and light hotel. Next to the breakfastroom, there is a beautiful Mediterranean terrace covered with lemon trees and flowers where you can sit and have breakfast. The hotel is well located, it's just a 15 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento - Piazza Tasso. The size of the rooms are good but the beds were not very comfortable. I would definately stay here again.
The rooms were noisy and the internet system a little outdated.

Good value for money. Hotel is nice although on busy road. If you had children and did not have a car I would not recommend it. If you have a car no problem. I had no trouble with the walk into town (an easy flat walk about 10 minutes from centre of town).Make sure you get a room at the back so as not to have traffic noise. Pool and breakfast area is absolutely wonderful - all set in a lemon grove. My room was a great size but heard some are quite small.Owner is wonderful. If you stay at this hotel definitely check out this pizza place - first one on the opposite side of the street as you head into town. Best Pizza, and other items, no atmosphere but great pricing! Good for lunch or after a long day. Also Fillipo's is great - hotel will call them and pick you up.
Breakfast is a little repetitive - if you're staying 5 days can get a little boring. Hey make real coffee and pour instead of the machine!

I felt this was a real Italian hotel and as it was family run you were made feel very welcome. There was a bit of a walk into the town centre but after you had done it once or twice it was no problem. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone going to Sorrento.
